Keep doing challenges and you’ll increase experience levels and unlock not only new courses but new modes, such as duels.Ĭrates will give you all kinds of loot, from new bike parts to new bikes, and even special vehicles such as scooters. You can always go back to a level to do challenges on, or move forward to the most recent unlocked level. If you want to unlock more courses, you have to gain experience levels, which is done by gaining adrenaline, which is done by completing challenges on each level. When you first download and play the game, only one course will be available. Pause at any time during a run to see what the missions for it are, so that you know what you have to do in order to maximize your adrenaline (which is the Touchgrind BMX 2’s version of experience points). You have to complete specific tasks too, such as scoring a certain amount of points off of one trick, or doing specific tough tricks (such as upside-down reverse tailwhips or triple bike flips). Of course, the missions for a particular course will not entirely be all about high scores. Then go crazy and start doing complex, high-point tricks, which, combined with the multiplier, will earn you massive amounts of points. So how do you max out your score? The simplest way to do so is to do easy, simple tricks that are easy to land until you get to the top multiplier tier. Also, each consecutive jump in which you successfully land a trick will lead to you getting another multiplier point added on, up to the x8 multiplier. Doing multiple tricks in the same jump will greatly effect your score. ![]() A spin is a portion of each trick, so doing a quad tailwhip, for example, will earn you more than doing a single or a double tailwhip will. First up is the length of time that you do the trick for. Your score for tricks is effected by a few things. Read on for some tips and tricks for Touchgrind BMX 2! Your goal here is to do increasingly harder and harder tricks for high scores, complete missions related to the level that you’re playing, and unlock new bikes and accessories for your bike. Touchgrind BMX 2 is a sequel to the original hit for the iOS and Android platforms that combines the gyroscopic gameplay of the original with extremely realistic graphics.

We have not configured bliss to fix cover art, or any other aspect of metadata. In the Music location field, enter the folder to your untagged WAV files, then click Apply rules.Īt this point, bliss will begin scanning the WAV files to see if it can find tag suggestions for the files. Click Albums then settings (if this is the first time you've run bliss, settings will be shown already): Install and start bliss if you haven't done already. Here's the bunch of untagged WAV files we'll start with (using Kid3): Using bliss to add tags to untagged WAV files Let's walkthrough how to use bliss to tag some old untagged WAVs. This will make your library easier to search and browse, and with the addition of embedded cover art, potentially even more beautiful! So if you've a library of old, untagged WAV files, now is the time to get them tagged. These recent developments have seen more and more music players and taggers begin to support WAV tagging. ID3 to the rescue! A new technique, where ID3 tags are buried inside sections of WAV files (called "chunks") has been gathering steam. Without good tags, libraries become more difficult to navigate, search and generally enjoy. This makes music library management with WAVs much more difficult. However, these were encoded in a tagging format that most music players are not able to read. Nine basic tags covering the basics of each track were originally defined artist, track title, album name et al. But traditionally they've always had a big pitfall: their metadata support has been traditionally poor. This makes them popular with audiophiles, sound engineers, and anyone that requires the highest audio quality ( other lossless codecs are available). In fact, this is by far the most common data stored inside WAVs, so WAVs have become synonymous with uncompressed, lossless audio. WAV files are a file format for storing audio the most common audio type stored is uncompressed PCM audio. ![]() A common early one to consider is filling in missing tags in WAV files that were previously untagged. ![]() WAV tagging for old untagged WAVsįollowing the launch of WAV tagging within bliss, it's worth considering some of the scenarios the new feature will be useful for. The basic structure of the user interface is similar though, so I'm keeping these old pages around in case they still contain useful information. This post may contain old screenshots of bliss which has been replaced by a new design. But I also know how demanding a game like The Sims is even for developers like Maxis, who are backed by EA. I definitely think it's weird that they're only just now getting to the gameplay elements. Oh I totally get what they're saying too. Good foundation first, then make the game look pretty and customizable. If they don't get the basics down first then they run a good chance of things breaking or not working correctly later. Regardless of it being an indie team, of if they're "listening", or doing this or that. Paralives at the end of the day is shaping itself up as a Sims competitor, or at least giving the genre another take on simulating pixel people. But if you're working on a life simulator, what do you think should take priority before anything else? It's not a matter of taking time, that's just part of any good game's development cycle. If that means spending a good chunk of time on the customization stuff first, I'm cool with it. Make sure the game is as polished as humanly possible in all aspects before releasing it. ![]() There's no rush so just do what Maxis DIDN'T do with TS3 and TS4. But given the kind of game they're making and everything that they want to do with it, combined with the small size of their 'm fine with them taking their time. I have a Sims 4 game that I haven't even bothered to fire up in over a year because I think it's a subpar game and no fun. I mean I'm already paying $70 for some of my PS5 games anyway. I'm pretty much in that same boat as far as buying it regardless of price. I am thinking of becoming a patron, being able to communicate wishes during development is tempting, but I agree with the doubts put forward in this thread about the principle of it, and I'm also very put off by the employee argument. I did read that the game is to have the same 'rating' as TS4, which is a bit disappointing, but the themes listed to be avoided I am not interested in anyway and there are perhaps ways of dealing with serious subjects without making so called adult material. I like the sims' games, but they are not made with me in mind, and I would like games to be more mature. ![]() I will buy this game, no matter the price (almost) life simulation is a neat game concept and one of the few I find entertaining, so whatever the end result I want to encourage the variation in that genre. |
